Return & Refund Policy — The Purple Privy Project
At The Purple Privy Project, we believe in transparency, dignity, and mutual respect — whether we're building public art installations or mailing you a sticker zine. If something arrives damaged, isn't what you expected, or simply doesn't feel right, we’ll do our best to make it right.
🕒 30-Day Return Policy
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.
To be eligible, your item must be:

In the same condition you received it (unworn/unused)

With tags and original packaging (if applicable)

Accompanied by your proof of purchase
To start a return, please contact us at returns@thepurpleprivyproject.org. Returns sent without prior contact cannot be accepted.
🧾 Where to Send Returns
Once approved, we’ll send you a prepaid return label with instructions on how and where to send your item. Shipping costs for returns due to preference changes are the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
🚨 Damages or Issues
If your order arrives defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, contact us immediately. We want to make sure every supporter feels seen and taken care of — that includes replacing or refunding items that don’t meet expectations.
🛑 Non-Returnable Items
To maintain safety and hygiene, we unfortunately cannot accept returns on:

Custom-made items (personalized, one-of-a-kind, or artist commissions)

Used personal care products (like soaps or body items)

Digital downloads or zines once accessed

Items sold on clearance or marked final sale

Gift cards

🔁 Exchanges
If you'd like a different size or product, please initiate a return and place a new order separately. That helps us keep fulfillment clean and timely.
🇪🇺 EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If you're in the European Union, you’re entitled to return eligible items within 14 days of receipt — no questions asked. Items must be unused and in their original condition, with packaging and receipt.
*Due to the trouble our current administration is causing, we are not shipping outside of the U.S. at this time.
💳 Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll let you know if the refund is approved. If so, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note: banks and card companies may take a few extra days to post the funds.
If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you haven’t seen your refund, please contact us.
